Opening
The Wildwood I once revived is drowning in grey again — but differently. The Void does not rot the leaves; it snuffs the very light within them.
The trees stand living and dead at once, and the silence here is brighter than any scream. I go to give the groves back their glow.
Ending
The Lifelight flares once more — briefly, but it is enough.
From the grey trunks steps Elara, Blade of the Grove: "The Void drank my light. Let me drink its dark in return."
The grove shimmers — yet the grey flows on, toward the source itself.
